Give the high school campus back to the students, by opening the grand lawn, minimizing construction barriers. 

Keep students safe and well, given outside and even online threats. Remodel behavior management systems with plans that identify, progressively discipline, and reinforce good behavior.

Resolve the post-Covid achievement gap to beyond expectations, in part, by increasing Math professional development and collaborations among Math educators. Differentiate learning so that the top students are challenged and those who need help, get support.

Humbled and thrilled Mandy was endorsed by teachers of the Beverly Hills Education Association (BHEA). This is the second time she has received endorsement for her candidacy. Security and Safety

Foundation for Learning

Mandy created a resolution requiring that the district include a precautionary statement About the risks of guns and Insecure storage. These precautions are presented at the start of each year, in conjunction with mandatory enrollment forms. Every student and staff member has the right to feel safe at school! Learning cannot be successful if students do not feel safe. Mandy regularly leads security discussions / concerns, especially ahead of community-wide events.

Academic Achievement

Earning a Master’s degree from Harvard University, Mandy prioritizes academic achievement including STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics). Stellar MATH achievement is crucial. Through fostering greater math professional development, embracing a “culture of mathematicians” as well as advocating for differentiated math instruction, Mandy is leading the charge in reaching superior math achievement, while continuing to bolster reading and writing excellence.

Mandy is an expert on how kids learn, feel and thrive. She published a book on top motivating factors in school and earned a doctorate in school leadership. As a school psychologist, both in the public schools as well as in private practice, Mandy is extremely knowledgeable about students well-being and academic performance.
